We are sad to announce the end-of-development & sales for TIBant™ and BWUnit™. Existing customers will remain supported and we will continue to provide continuous delivery consulting services, but will be no longer be developing or selling TIBant or BWUnit.

These products have been a big part of my life for a number of years. I’ve enjoyed creating and growing them over that time and I’ve really enjoyed the success some of our clients have seen with our products. Call me a nerd, but that’s what gives me the warm and fuzzies; seeing a customer with life critical systems averaging many production deployments a week, during business hours and with no service outage. It doesn’t get much better than that, and TIBant and BWUnit got them there.

But for most BusinessWorks users we’ve talked to, that isn’t where they ended up. Instead most walked away, never becoming a client, because I was unable to sell them the benefits of continuous delivery. It’s not that the benefits aren’t there; I’ve experienced the benefits with our successful clients and many teams using non-BusinessWorks technologies have seen it; It’s simply been a concept that I’ve struggled to help BW teams understand and take advantage of.

For those interested, we will not be open-sourcing either TIBant or BWUnit. A signifiant portion of their development was funded by the customers who believed in us and our products, which allowed them to deliver their BW projects faster and gain a competitive advantage. We are never going give away what they helped create.

And on that note, I would like to say a very big thank you to the customers that did believe in us. It has been great sharing in your successes and as mentioned above, we will continue to support you in achieving those successes.
